TTPT has asked for funding for gateway signage at the south end of the National Scenic Byway from the Mid Region Council of Governments. We have successfully been granted 75% of the $50,000 request for funds in the Transportation Improvement Program for the year 2011. We are seeking Donations and would appreciate your help. Thanks for your interest in Volunteering your time and helping us preserve and enhance the intrinsic character of the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway. Our small group of volunteers are always looking for people to help us with our preservation and educational efforts. Our current Funding Drive is for the construction of a Turquoise Trial Gateway Sign near I-40 at the southern gateway to the trail. TTPT has been granted 75% of the $50,000 estimated cost for the sign from the Mid Region Council of Governments. To make the sign a reality we Need your Help to raise the remaining 25% or $12,500.
